Experience
I have been seeing clients since 2019, providing 154 hours of free therapy via The Human Flourishing Project, often working with clients with multiple diagnoses and previous negative experiences with health care professionals. I have been seeing clients privately since 2023.
I have worked with a wide range of clients of various intersectionalities, bringing many different topics including but not exclusive to:
- Sexual abuse (childhood and adult)
- Addiction
- Incest
- Schizophrenia and hallucinations
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Work-related concerns
- Eating Disorders and Body Image
- Relationship concerns (familial, romantic and friendship)
- Pedophilia
- Rape
- Client perpetrators of abuse
- Trauma
- Assault
- Disability and neurodiversity
- LGBTQIA+ identities
- Sex, kink and pornography
- BPD/EUPD
- Personal growth
- Self-harm
- Confidence
- Phobias
- OCD
My experience has given me a strong foundation, working with clients as full people, not a list of diagnoses and concerns, reaffirming my passion for the person-centred approach. No matter what the topic, I am able to sit with clients in their distress and allow them to feel safe and supported.
There is no way to capture all of my experience, as we are so much more than what we bring to therapy. My main focus is on cultivating a strong therapeutic bond so clients can bring whatever they want to bring to therapy and feel safe and confident in doing so.
